Black Stuff is our high-performance degreasing gel, developed by our inventive in-house chemist to tackle stubborn grease, grime, and dirt across your bike’s drivetrain and components. Formulated as a gel, it clings to surfaces for longer, allowing it to penetrate deep into tight spaces—chain links, cassettes, and hard-to-reach nooks and crannies—where traditional degreasers struggle to reach.
How to use:
1. Apply Black Stuff generously to the cassette and drivetrain using a brush.
2. For the chain, apply the gel directly along the centre—as you would with a chain lube—ensuring full coverage.
3. Let the gel sit for a few minutes to work its magic (this is the perfect time to put the kettle on).
4. Scrub the cassette, chainrings, and chain thoroughly with a stiff brush, focusing on areas with built-up grime.
5. Rinse off with water—ideally using a hose for best results.
